GUYS..
Vitamin C isn’t just for colds!!! Vitamin C is about to change your skin…
Vitamin C is the key to fighting premature aging. It gives your skin the most beautiful glow that literally makes you look like you just dropped 10 years in age.
I started adding Vitamin C into my routine and I was amazed. Literally felt like a glowing goddess.
So, what the hell is Vitamin C and what’s it got to do with skin?
Vitamin C works wonders for the skin. In the fight against premature aging, vitamin C gives your skin a beautiful youthful glow that makes you look radiant and takes a few years off your age.
To help you make the most of it, take a look at this helpful guide to vitamin c:
♡ What does vitamin C do for skin? ♡
Vitamin C can do so many fab things for your skin.
First off, it keeps your skin soft and hydrated by increasing its moisture content. This is huge during the winter months!!! If you are using a serum like I do, just put a little bit on a beauty blender and apply under your makeup. It also gives you that glowy/dewy look which is suuuuper IN and hot.
Now, that’s not even the best part. It makes you age gracefully and slowly by fighting those nasty, wrinkle-causing, free radicals and boosting the production of collagen that keeps your skin elastic and firm.
- Side Note- Here’s a little trick I LOVE. So, I use my ice roller at night on my skin. If you don’t know what an ice roller is all you need to know is that it’s from the GODS. Literally botox in your freezer. So after I finish rolling my skin, I use a little bit of vitamin C! Try it, you’ll thank meeeeee
Okay, now let’s talk dark spots and hyperpigmentation… Vitamin C is your BFF. With some regular use, it’ll completely reduce the appearance of dark spots and any other discoloration.
♡ Which type of vitamin C should you use? ♡
Vitamin C isn’t just one ingredient. It’s a catch-all term that includes l-ascorbic acid, the pure form of vitamin C, and all its derivatives. These include sodium ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbyl palmitate, retinyl ascorbate, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate.
Pretty much, if the name includes the words “ascorbyl” or “ascorbic”, it is a form of vitamin c.
Sooo all types of vitamin C are beneficial for the skin, but some work better than others.
L-ascorbic acid, being the pure form, is the most effective. But it is very unstable. That means, it spoils quickly. Other forms are less powerful (they work more slowly), but more stable (they last longer). It’s up to you to decide if the trade off is worth it.
I also have THIS form of vitamin c that I like to use as a DIY face mask.
Now, let’s chat about my FAVORITE Vitamin C Serum- OZ Naturals
1. How it works?
With this Vitamin C Serum for your skin I actually felt like a new woman. My skin literally right after I put it on felt amazing. I used it for a few days, and it even looked like I had makeup on because my skin was so refreshed and hydrated.
2. What’s in it?
OZ Naturals Vitamin C Serum, contains Vitamin C 20, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, and Vitamin E. Also- it’s cruelty free! Yay!
3. How to use it?
Okay, so make sure your face is clean. Put a little bit on a sponge or beauty blender. Spread several drops over your face, neck, chest and allow to absorb. You can use this twice a day (morning/night). I put this on before I put my makeup to give my skin dewy look.
Ladies, if you want to rock the “no makeup, makeup look” I would 100% recommend OZ Naturals.
