Hit your body’s reset button
Breakfast
– Light shake
-Blend 1 cup skim milk (or soy, almond, rice, or hemp)
-1 cup berries
-1 tsp peanut butter (or flaxseed oil)
-1 cup of ice
Snack
-1 cup sliced cucumbers
-1 cup green tea
* Add a small amount of vinegar or fresh salt to your cucumbers or make cucumber salad by slicing and un peeling dousing them with your choice of vinegar. Let them marinade for an hour. Drain off vinegar, keep them in fridge
* Drink your green tea straight up and hot
Lunch
-Steamed or raw greens (romaine or spinach)
-4oz lean protein (white meat chicken, fish, lean meat)
-2tsp oil (olive, sunflower, walnut)
*Mix and match your greens! Toss fresh basil, cilantro, or flat leaf parsley in with salad greens
Snack
-1o asparagus spears
-1 cup green tea
*Dip into nonfat yogurt or Dijon mustard
Dinner
-Steamed or raw greens
-4oz lean protein
-2 tsp oil
*Be creative w/ tsp of oil. Add some vinegar and some herbs for vinaigrette. Use I to sauté bite size pieces of white chicken, lean beef, tofu, or fish. Or you can rub on meat or fish before broiling/ grilling.
