This summer i’ve taken on the task of shooting 3 different weddings and i couldn’t be more excited!
I love that I have the opportunity to make a couples day extra special and capture moments that will last a lifetime.
Well, let me tell you how the day went. Wedding days are crazy, always.
Not to mention, i was soooo nervous. OMG. I went through the checklist I created for myself probably 5000 times and that wasn’t even enough to suppress my nerves.
I didn’t want to forget ANYTHING… I couldn’t!
Well for my Marylanders, you know that rain was completely insane! I have NEVER in my lifetime witnessed rain that bad. Cars were getting stuck, rivers overflowing, trees falling, power flickering… I was terrified. Pretty much every single person living in Maryland had a pond in their yard (that was not suppose to be there). Yikes.
Well, Not only was today the first monsoon of the decade BUT it was someones WEDDING!
Like, hellooo sun, where ya at!?!
I knew that just because the weather was unbearable, it couldn’t distract or come in the way of me doing my job (and getting it done right).
So, After arriving to the wedding an hour or so early to get prepared and scope out the location. My Nikon camera WASNT WORKING! WHAT!? How could this be happening to me!! I was devastated. (P.s Nikon sucks, Canon rocks). I quickly did everything i could to fix my camera (google) but, just my luck, nothing was working!
Thank god! I brought my canon. I quickly ran to the nearest best-buy, grabbed a lens, and rushed back to the wedding. Crazy!
I arrived JUST in time to begin shooting. Phew!
Long story, short. The pictures, wedding, and everything in between turned out BEAUTIFUL.
I am so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to shoot the most beautiful and sweet couple.
I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures of the night.
Congrats Emily & Sean!
